When I was little, I was constantly taught that the greatest virtue is to be MODEST. And for a long time, I lived exactly that way: modest, quiet, proper… invisible. Until I realized that modesty is ONLY good when there’s NOTHING more to give to the world. This painting is for the “proper” boys and girls who sent their “properness” to hell and decided to BE THEMSELVES and live THEIR OWN LIFE
